Birch Leaf

The Birch is a versatile tree. The sap, bark, leaves, wood, twigs, and roots are used for food, construction materials, medicinal treatments, and other practical applications. Birch sap is drunk as a tonic or rendered into birch syrup, vinegar, beer, soft drinks, and other foods. Birch syrup is very difficult to make. Wearing a birch leaf as a necklace is much, much easier.
